Mission Statement
Titties N’At Hash House Harriettes (TN@H3) is dedicated to providing a space for likeminded women and non-binary hashers to let their hair down and lift others up through positive interactions.
Titties N’At Hash House Harriettes Charter
Titties N’At Hash House Harriettes (TN@H3) was established October 26, 2015. TN@H3 will meet every 28 days beginning Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 6:30 pm for pre-trail drinks at any drinking establishment, home providing adult beverages, or trunk of a car with a cooler within or near the city limits of Pittsburgh. Harriettes will be on out at 7:00 pm.
Objectives
The main objective of this group is to bring together awesome women and non-binary people that exist within and around the Pittsburgh hashes and to introduce new people to hashing within a fun, supportive group of ladies.
Membership
Membership is open to all women and non-binary hashers who are interested in taking a break from the patriarchal overlords of the dual gender hash to let their hair down and lift each other up through positive interactions with like-minded ladies.
Entrance Fees
Virgins to the TN@H3 hash are free; all others (except the harriette(s) hosting) will pay a participation fee of $5. $3 will go to the haring harriette(s), and the remainder will be placed into the TN@H3 treasury for future use.
Rules & Traditions
Harriette Guidelines
- Trail can be live or dead, at the harriette’s choice. If live, the harriettes will be given approximately 10 minutes lead time and must remain at the stops for all members to arrive.
- Trails should be within or near Pittsburgh city limits.
- TN@H3 is about socializing more than anything else.
- Trail length: 2.5–3.5 miles (regular trails); special trails may vary.
- Hash cash is $5 ($3 to the harriette, $2 to treasury).
- Harriette provides at least one stop and circle beverages; not limited to beer.
- If a stop or circle is at a bar, the harriette must purchase a round for all.
- Food is not expected but encouraged; potlucks are welcome.
- All marks must be explained before on-out.
- On-Out at 7pm. Circle should start by 9pm and last no more than 30 minutes.
Circle Guidelines
- Circle is guided by the HPV and Song Mistress but includes everyone.
- All Harriettes are encouraged to offer songs — no punishment for trying!
- Sharing memorable cycle stories is encouraged.
- Prince Helperdick may be named to honor helpful men.
- No side chatter during circle — share it with all or hold it till after!
- The Eager Beaver and Lazy Llama are recognized with stickers.
- No flour or beer showers without consent — consent is sexy!
Naming
Naming involves group discussion, stories, and suggestions. If no name fits, the naming will be tabled. Once a name is chosen, the newly named Harriette will do a down-down. No glitter or flour — sorry, rules are rules!
Commemoratives
Every 10 trails = one blood drop pin.
Every 50 trails = one fancy hash name necklace.
Special Events
PAP (Positively Astounding Party): Yearly non-trail event celebrating the TN@H3 year, typically around December 2. Bonus points if it’s a sleepover!
Spotting Trails: Off-schedule trails, sometimes manvitationals where male hashers may join.
Hash Rules
- Promote female unity and togetherness.
- Every Harriette must genuinely compliment another Harriette during trail.
- Use trail to meet new people.
- Be willing to both ask for and give assistance.
- Use positive words and actions only.
- No competitiveness—unless it’s competitive complimenting.
- No training at the hash (except training to be awesome).
- All voices will be heard; silence only during circle.
- No illegal substances on trail or at circle.
- Smoking must not affect others on trail.
Ms. Management
The Hash is run effectively but cooperatively! Ms. Management positions are typically two-year terms, reviewed at the annual PAP. A committee includes at minimum:
- General Menstruator (GM)
- High Priestess Vagina (HPV/RA)
- Dominatrix (Pussy Herder / Hare Raiser)
- Glitter Box (Hash Cash)
- Diva / Magic Songbox (Song Mistress)
- Pubic Pencil(s)
- HOT Harriette Haberdashers
- Suffragette Advisory Gals (SAG)
Vacancies may be filled at any Ms. Management meeting by majority vote.
Duties of each position:
General Menstruator (GM)
- Ensure Ms. Management upholds duties and standards.
- Act as liaison for official matters.
- Serve as point of contact for TN@H3 business.
- Lead quarterly meetings and support all members.
High Priestess Vagina (HPV/RA)
- Conduct Chalk Talk if trail is live and explain markings if dead.
- Lead circle: start with “All the Hashing Ladies” and close with “Proud to be a Harriette.”
- Recognize visitors, virgins, anniversaries, awards, and stories.
- Conduct violations, announcements, commemoratives, and naming ceremonies.
- Ensure continuity of TN@H3 and hashing traditions.
- Represent TN@H3 at large events when needed.
Diva / Magic Songbox (Song Mistress)
- Lead songs during circle and other events.
- Learn and teach new songs to the hash.
- Organize quarterly choir practices.
- Lead circle if the HPV is unavailable.
Glitter Box (Hash Cash)
- Collect and manage Hash Cash each trail.
- Keep financial records and share monthly updates.
- Record attendance and notable events.
- Backup spreadsheets monthly.
Pubic Pencil(s)
- Keep minutes of all Ms. Management meetings.
- Document naming ceremonies and trail write-ups.
Dominatrix (Pussy Herder / Hare Raiser)
- Ensure a trail is scheduled every cycle.
- Publish trail info at least two weeks in advance.
HOT Harriette Haberdashers
- Manage and sell TN@H3 items.
- Track inventory and report sales to Hash Cash.
- Poll Harriettes for desired merch ideas.
Suffragette Advisory Gals (SAG)
Founding members who no longer hold a title but whose guidance is always valued. SAG members are invited to and included in all future Ms. Management meetings.
