Tn@ #125: PMS and Paella In The Kitchen
Tn@ #125: PMS and Paella In The Kitchen
July 1, 2026 18:30 - 19:30
Evergreen Cafe, 7330 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15208, USA
Oh hai. I am Paella in the Kitchen and I am a good dog. My trail will be good like me. It will have the best sidewalks and trails where humans and dogs can run and walk and I hope my friends will be there. My mom and auntie will help me with the marks because I don’t have thumbs. If its too hot I might not go. Also I am not allowed in the bar. I am allowed on the rest of the trail. Anyway there will be a trail. If I am there please pet me a lot. Thank you.
PMS here. Things got a little weird this time so a dog is haring the trail. I’m not sure where she wants to go so tick spray might be good to have in case she heads for the woods (she likes woods). I’ll encourage her to avoid any serious shiggy. You probably won’t need a light given the time of year, but again, who knows? The dog’s in charge.
Meet at Evergreen 6:30, on-out 7-ish.
Evergreen is cash only, bring cash or use their ATM.
You will want to have form of payment for a contra stop.
If you’re hoping to catch the sportsball action, there may be an opportunity (dog willing).
Questions, contact PMS 617-470-1815
TN@ is a walker friendly kennel.

PITT #378 - Braddock's Revenge
PITT #378 - Braddock's Revenge
July 9, 2026 18:30 - 18:30
Ruggers Pub, 40 S 22nd St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203, USA
Who: Defender of Peedom & Surprise Guest Hare(s) When: Thursday July 9 @ 6:30pm Where: Ruggers Pub 40 S. 22nd Street Pittsburgh, PA 15203
On July 09, 1755, General Braddock was mortally wounded during the battle of Fort Duquesne during the French and Indian War. In honor of General Braddock, I was tempted to host this trail in one of the many local areas sharing his namesake such as Braddock, North Braddock, or Braddock Hills but these were all outside the city limits and Pearl Necklace, like the brave general, would not waiver from the PITT H3 Charter rules (respect!). With those options off the table, I toyed with starting in Regent Square along S. Braddock Ave, but a bunch of trailer trash ruined that option with their own interpretation of a 3-to-5-mile trail. Finally, after exhausting all Braddock related options, I finally settled on starting this journey in the exact location that the doomed general and his men began their final push, before crossing the Monongahela and marching headfirst into a French and Indian ambush, Ruggers Pub.
To honor General Braddock and memorialize his death, we will follow the exact route taken by the British on that ill-fated day as they navigated from Ruggers Pub to Fort Duquesne in present day Point State Park. This trail will include panoramic views of the city from the very point that General Braddock and a young George Washington planned their attack on the French stronghold. Afterwards we will make our way to the exact spot where General Braddock was mortally wounded and rushed off the battlefield. There will be many more historical points of interest along the way. You may even have the chance to visit the Fort Pitt Museum to learn more about the contributions that General Braddock and George Washington made to Pittsburgh and even how PITT H3 has a direct line of lineage to these great men.
Trail details & notes Length: A true 3-5 miles Shiggy Level: *File Missing* PI Factor: C+ Dog Friendly: “I suppose” Misc: $2.50 Exact Change recommended
*While it is unlikely that we will experience the level of violence that the general and his men experienced, the possibility of encountering Frenchmen or angry indigenous peoples is never 0, especially in the wake of the city’s America 250th celebration.*
